Hello, world!

I'm Jordan Jones

a

I'm a Seattle-based software engineer with over three years of production experience shipping software that millions of people use. I've owned complex systems end-to-end — from API design and architecture to cross-team adoption and long-term maintenance. I care about the craft: clean code, solid testing, and building things that hold up when it counts.

02. About Me

I'm a software engineer at Alaska Airlines building front-end platform infrastructure. For the past three years I've owned the Auro Design System — a full component platform comprising 39 custom Web Components, a multi-theme CSS design token architecture spanning 6 brand themes, typography and color palette systems, and a shared stylesheets package consumed across alaskaair.com's booking and check-in flows.

I'm a UW Informatics grad with experience spanning component platform architecture, developer tooling, and site reliability engineering. I care about building systems other engineers actually want to build on — well-documented, well-tested, and thoughtfully versioned. I'm currently looking for roles where I can apply that platform mindset to broader full-stack and product engineering challenges.

Looking For

Open to full-stack and front-end platform engineering roles at companies building at scale. Looking for teams where developer experience, system quality, and shipping real product impact go hand in hand.
